If you’ve found your way to my website, chances are you’re looking for counselling or psychotherapy for either yourself or someone close to you. If that’s the case, you’ve come to the right place!

In the past, accessing counselling meant not only finding a therapist and booking an appointment, but also travelling to the therapist’s room, be that by car or public transport. Add to that, there are health concerns over COVID 19. Now, accessing therapy couldn’t be easier or safer. You can have sessions from the comfort and shelter of your own home. No more dealing with traffic, crowded public transport, or adverse weather – I offer sessions via Skype or Zoom at a mutually convenient time and day, 7 days a week, no matter where in the world you are.

Many people initially feel embarrassed, scared or even dread at the prospect of talking to a total stranger about what is going on for them. This is perfectly understandable. In any form of therapy, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable with your therapist. I believe in creating a safe environment in which to talk. I believe in openness and honesty and will do my best to offer you clear and comprehensible explanations of why I ask the questions I ask. Right from the start, we discuss what is realistically achievable, what the options for you are and what it takes to get you from where you are now to where you want to be. Wherever possible, I also offer information, reading material and exercises to do at home, to help support the work you do with me in sessions.

“The most important thing is that you feel comfortable with your therapist”

I have included separate pages, which you can find (in the menu above) according to the type of therapy I offer. Again, these are not comprehensive descriptions of what I do, so if you would like to know more, please feel free to contact me.
